There are many other awards available to Cub Scouts. Here are a few nationally recognized awards. 

 

Religious Awards


Many religious organizations offer specific programs in which scouts may participate and earn awards. These awards as not sponsored by the BSA, but are recognized by the BSA and scouts can earn a Religous Emblem Knot for completing them. This is also one way of completing the religious requirement of the Webelos rank badge.

 

 

This strip is awarded the first time a scout is successful in getting a friend, relative, classmate, or other acquaintance to join his unit.   
 
 
 

The requirements for this award vary by program year. Common requirements include learning about and promising to practice the Leave No Trace frontcountry guidelines, and participating in a Leave No Trace-related service project. 
 
 
 
 

The requirements for this award vary by program year and the award may be earned each year as long as all requirements are completed each year. One requirement for all ranks is attendence at a cub scout day camp or cub scout/webelos resident camp, regardless of the scout's current rank.

The President's Challenge provides a web-based tracking system for physical activity with goals and awards. The first award is the Presidential Active Lifestyles Award.
 
 

The President's Volunteer Service Award recognizes groups and individuals for volunteerism. Volunteerism is measured in number of hours, with the requirements for each level dependent on the age of the volunteer. Groups may also qualify for awards.
