Pack 352 is one of thousands of Cub Scout packs within the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) organization. We are in the Impeesa District which is part of the Occoneechee Council in NC. Pack 352 is located in Raleigh, NC. We are chartered, since 1998, by the Knights of Columbus All Saints Council located at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Our pack consists of 12 dens (2-3 dens per rank) of scouts, leaders and assistant leaders, led by a pack committee. This pack has seen tremendous growth over the past 12 years: currently we average about 90-100 scouts, and are one of the largest packs in the Impeesa District. Join Scout Nights are held in August and September, but new or transferring scouts are welcome at any time. Our doors are always open to all boys in (or rising) first grade – fifth grade. Boy Scout Troop 352, for the older boys, is also located at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Pack 352 is very proud of its many Quality Unit Awards and other special awards it has received over the years. We believe every scout deserves a trained leader. We put emphasis on safety and follow the high standards of the BSA regulations and adhere to the strict BSA Guide for Safe Scouting. Each Leader is formally trained, with safety and fun in mind.
Cub scouts learn a lot about the world around them and also about themselves. They develop skills, earn awards, make friends, and have lots of fun. We want each scout to “Do his Best” as he learns the core values of scouting related directly to the Scout Law. As Scout is "trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent."
Some of our annual events include the Pinewood Derby, Scout Night at the Durham Bulls, picnics, and campouts. Many of these events are open all family members to participate. We also have monthly pack meetings on a Thursday night, where all the dens come together for songs, skits, award presentations, and more. Den meetings are set by the den leader and typically occur once or twice per month.
