Pack 352 Service Projects

The Boy Scouts of America is a service organization. Service projects teach the scouts compassion and responsibility, and allow them to give back to the community. This page contains information about some of our 2006-2007 service projects. Check the Pack 352 Calendar for upcoming service projects. If you have a project in the Raleigh area that would be appropriate for 6-10 year olds, contact us (please specify "service projects" in the subject).

Passage Home

This annual service project benefits Passage Home, a local program that supports families as they make the move back to affordable housing after being homeless. We purchase and wrap gifts of clothing, toys, and household items as needed by the sponsored families. Because this project occurs in December, the scouts add a few fun holiday items, like candy canes and handmade ornaments.

Food Drives

By collecting food from family, friends, and neighbors, cub scouts can make a big difference to local food banks that provide desperately needed nourishment to those less fortunate in our community.
